LANSING, Mich. — Traffic is about to be impacted in Clinton County.

Beginning next Monday, construction related to the new Love's Travel Stop in Watertown Township will impact traffic through the Francis Road and Grand River Avenue intersection.

The shop will be located at the northeast corner of Francis Road and west Grand River highway. The business will include a 9,000 sqaure-foot store with parking spots for 103 trucks and 82 cars.

Travelers can expect to see lane closures and lane shifts, especially on Francis Road for the next several weeks.

Make sure to allow yourself extra time if you travel through that area.

The truck stop is expected to open in January of next year -- that's if the weather cooperates for construction crews.
