Part of Eaton County is dealing with water concerns on Wednesday morning after a water main break yesterday.

A large sinkhole formed due to the break on the corner of Cherry Street and High in the city of Potterville.

The area is fenced off so people and vehicles don't end up in it.

Several of the FOX 47 viewers reached out to us about the issue saying their water is now a yellow color.

One person says they were advised by police to boil any drinking water for two days after this problem is fixed.

An official advisory from the city has not been released.

People living in the area were told crews will be working to repair the water main Wednesday morning.

We've reached out to the city and Potterville police but we have not heard back.

Stay with FOX 47 as we continue to update this situation.
