Community Mental Health will start focusing on families and less on insurance.
The change comes after they turned away Charlotte teen Ian Hartley because they didn't take his family's insurance. Hartley then killed himself the next day.
According to the Lansing State Journal, other changes include recommending a child be taken to the emergency room if parents decline treatment.
