The outrage over the ousting of the Charlotte boy's varsity basketball coach continues with community members planning to attend another board meeting tonight, to fight for the rehiring of Coach Steve Ernst.
Ernst was forced to resign after picking up six technical fouls in the last 30 games.
The school board has refused to comment on the issue, but students and community members are fired up, demanding the coach be allowed back on the court.
A Facebook group in support of Ernst now has nearly 700 members, some players on the varsity team are considering sitting out the rest of the season if Ernst doesn't get his job back.
The next varsity home game is tomorrow night, no word yet on whether the players will be on the court.
Right now, the plan is for community members to flood tonight's special board meeting which starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Charlotte High School lecture room.
