Queen's Church in Jackson could use some help making this year's Community Wide Holiday Dinner a successful one.
It's looking for volunteers to help decorate from 9am - 11am on Wednesday, December 23 in Queen's Gym. They also need people to donate salads and desserts, which can be dropped off at the Queen's School cafeteria on Thursday, December 24 from 3pm - 4pm and Christmas morning from 10am - 11am.
Volunteers are also needed to help greet guests, serve the family-style meals, even color with the kids. If you'd like to help out, contact John Clary at 517-524-7572 or sign up through the link we've posted in this article.
The dinner will be held at Queen's Parish Social Center at 811 S. Wisner in Jackson on Christmas Day at 2pm. Doors will open at 1:15pm. Anyone who has lost a loved one, is new to the community or spending Christmas alone is invited to attend.
