Thousands of people are expected in downtown Lansing tonight for the kick off of Lansing's Common Ground Music Festival.
Gates open at 4 p.m. at Adado Riverfront Park, but because big crowds are expected, organizers are asking people to arrive at least an hour early just to get through security. There are restrictions on what can be brought inside. Bag chairs and clutch bags are allowed. No outside food or drinks will be allowed inside, however guests can purchase food products inside the park.
The lineup this year includes Alessia Cara, Toby Keith, and Big Sean.
