Ingham County Commissioners are expected to meet and talk about the investigation into Ingham County Animal Control Monday night.

The commissioners are scheduled to talk about what comes next as the county searches for a new director and deputy director.

Commissioners voted last month during a special meeting to fire John Dinon over allegations of dogs neglected and abused under his watch. Anne Burns retired from her role as deputy director during the same meeting.

Last week, Ingham County Sheriff's Sergeant Andy Denzer took over the interim director role.

The Ingham County Controller released results of an investigation earlier this month, detailing what it described as a deep organizational dysfunction at the shelter.

Monday night's meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. and is open to the public.
