MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The head gymnastics coach at Central Michigan University has not been fired, according to an announcement by CMU's athletic department.

FOX 47 reported in February that Jerry Reighard was placed on paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation.

The investigation involved allegations that he urged athletes to lie about injuries to medical staff in order for them to compete.

CMU presented its report on Reighard Wednesday.

He now has two weeks to respond to that report, then the university will issue its final ruling on his job status.
