The Jackson County man charged with second degree murder in the deaths of two teenagers took the stand in court Monday.
Tracy Lawrence admitted to shooting and killing 18 year-old Hunter Lentz and Matthew McMillen in June of 2018.
The teens were allegedly breaking into a vehicle at Lawrence's home in Springport Township.
Lawrence's Attorney says he shot them in self defense.
Lawrence is charged with two counts of Second Degree Murder and one felony firearms count.
The case is now in the hands of the jury.
