A warning from a local sheriff about a scam going around.
It's happening in Clinton County's Olive Township. The sheriff says there's a man going door to door offering water testing services.
An elderly woman invited him inside her home to test her water and he convinced her to buy a new water softener.
He came back the next day and installed a new one but at an extremely high price.
The sheriff doesn't have a good description of the guy but is investigating.
