Cleanup efforts underway after storm damage

Posted at 4:06 AM, Jul 23, 2019

This past weekend storms wreaked havoc on the state of Michigan with thousands out of power and others suffering damaged.

Damage was done in Ottawa County's Georgetown Township where high winds left a trail of downed trees, power lines and roof damage.

People who were not affected stepped in right away to help those who lost power and access to their homes.

One family handed out food. Several others cut down trees and helped to clear people's yards.
