The city of Jackson has big plans for a well-traveled road in the new year.
There's a proposal in the works to rebuild Kibby Road from four lanes to two and build a multi-use path on the side that runs along cascades.
The project would only encompass Kibby from S. West Avenue to Cascade Court and start in the spring and run through mid-summer.
A public meeting to discuss the project and its impact on drivers and people who live around the area has been set for Wednesday, January 11 at Frost Elementary School at 6:30pm.
