People living in the city of Jackson might notice some changes to their water over the next few weeks.
The city is currently in the process of flushing its hydrants throughout the city from now until Oct. 2. The city says flushing will occur from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Officials say the water is safe to drink but it may discolor clothes in the wash.
