The Lansing City Council will take another stab at electing a president and vice president tonight.
After three failed attempts the city council has met three times over the past two weeks to elect leadership, but no one was gotten enough votes to win.
Lansing City Clerk Chris Swope says an attorney will be brought in to advise the council of potential legal problems if members do not vote on a president by the end of the month.
Tonight's meeting starts at 5:30 p.m.
