St. Paul's Episcopal Church was blocked off by barbed wire and yellow tape. It's been here 102 years and Wednesday's wind showed no remorse to its standing, doing damage to the brick wall in front.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church is doing everything they can to rebuild, even using resources and people in the church with restoration connections to rebuild the place that means the most to them.
Since Wednesday, cars have crept up to see the progress and the damages of the historical building, and for others this building is much more than just a place of worship.
"We're going to take it day by day, and let the experts do their thing, the structural engineers do their analysis and figure out how the walls could be rebuilt to fix the stained glass window, and bring everything back to its original condition," Rector Karen Lewis said.
