Chick-fil-A plans move forward in Mid-Michigan

Posted

Plans for two Chick-fil-A restaurants in mid-Michigan are moving along.

Meridian Township commissioners gave the thumbs up on three permits for a restaurant to be built in front of the Meijer in Okemos.

Delta Township is also gearing up for a new Chick-fil-A on Saginaw Highway.

The township says the popular chain wants to set up shop in the Fazoli's building across from the Lansing mall.

However, according to a report from the Lansing State Journal, there are issues with the location of the drive-thru lane.

Right now, the township is waiting to find out Chick-fil-A's next move.

The goal is to have the restaurant in Delta Township open sometime this year, and the one in Meridian Township to open by next year.
