Actress and singer Cher has been tapped to star in a Lifetime movie about the Flint Water Crisis.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cher will also serve as an executive producer of the film, along with Katie Couric.
The website says Cher will portray a Flint resident whose family is impacted by the water crisis.
Cher donated nearly 200,000 bottles of water to Flint last year and caused controversy when she said Governor Snyder should be "executed."
No word on where the movie will shoot or when filming will begin.
