Charlotte police are investigating two unrelated drive-by shootings.
Police Chief Lisa Sherman tells us the first one happened just after midnight on September 25 on North Clinton Street. The second happened shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Shepherd Street on September 29.
Shots were fired into a house in both cases. Nobody was hurt.
There were no witnesses to either shooting and police do not have descriptions of the shooters or the vehicles.
They say the shootings were not random but are not saying how they know that.
Chief Sherman says she's not releasing much information in order to avoid compromising the investigation.
