EAST LANSING, Mich. — East Lansing and MSU police are preparing just as much as the players, and a lot of focus will be on Cedar Village.
FOX 47 News' Alani Letang asked tenants Friday about how they felt about being ground zero for many Spartan celebrations.
As of Friday, Cedar Village complex was quiet. However, that is all expected to change come Saturday night and most people seem to know it.
"It gets a little crazy sometimes, especially when people love to donate their own furniture for the fires and the cops don't really like that. But hey, Go Green," said Katie Cauffman, Cedar Village tenant.
Tenants of Cedar Village said they look forward to the excitement that the final four game will bring. Some asking to keep it classy.
"It's fine actually because its such a big game. I understand people want to celebrate just don't annoy or interrupt people around," said Xiaoqrn Yan, Cedar Village Tenant
Even people that don't live at Cedar Village know it's the hot spot.
"It's the hub of MSU, everyone comes here and groups together. It's like a family here everyone goes crazy together," said Simone Vaduva frequent visitor of Cedar Village apartments.
Last weeks crowd turned out nearly 800 people and students said it should be no different Saturday.
"I'm expecting a lot of parties here in Cedar Village, a lot of riots going on, there was a riot last week so I'm hoping to see the same thing again, but even crazier," said Vaduva.
