The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is putting almost $2 million dollars toward sexual education in Mid-Michigan.

The CDC is giving the Eaton County Regional Education Service Agency $1.8 million dollars over the next five years to support sex education and health in Eaton, Ingham, and Clinton counties.

Among the grant's goals: strengthen health education for students, engage parents, and create a safe and supportive environment for LGBTQ youth.
