LANSING, Mich. — CATA is preparing for their fall season.
The ride-service said it is implementing changes on several routes in order to provide greater efficiencies and additional service.
Spartan Service, the additional service provided on select routes during MSU fall and spring semesters, resumes on MSU's campus and Routes 23, 25 and 26 Monday morning, according to a press release.
Here are route-specific changes:
Route 1 Downtown Lansing/ Meridian Mal:
Late-night service across the corridor will maintain the same frequency year-round to provide consistent service every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 3:35 a.m. Weekday Capitol Loop trips will operate the same year-round in the morning and adjust slightly in the evening during MSU breaks and holidays.
Route 3 Willow/Lansing Mall:
Added trips on the weekend will noticeably increase the frequency of service. Three new trips on Saturday morning will provide 30-minute service all day. Sunday trips will double as the frequency of service increases from 60 minutes to 30 minutes all day.
Route 7 Aurelius/Miller:
Adjustments to some departure times will result in certain buses departing 5-10 minutes later.
Route 8 Pennsylvania/Holt:
Added weekend trips will increase the frequency of Saturday and Sunday service from 45 minutes to 30 minutes all day.
Route 9 South Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd./Miller
Added weekend trips will increase the frequency of Saturday and Sunday service from 45 minutes to 30 minutes all day.
Route 12 W. Michigan/Waverly/LCC West
Service to Lansing Community College's west campus will resume Aug. 22 with shuttle buses running between Ollie's and campus. Customers should continue to follow the summer break timetable until Aug. 26 when Route 12 buses return to the more frequent LCC service timetable and travel directly to west campus.
Route 20 S. Harrison/Jolly/Dunckel
Weekday buses will run the same schedule year-round for more consistent service. The route will continue to travel into Spartan Village during MSU breaks and holidays.
Route 24 East Lansing/E. Lake Lansing Road
With the return of Spartan Service, weekday trips will run at a 35-minute frequency until 6:30 p.m. During MSU breaks and holidays, the 7 a.m. weekday trip from Meijer Lake Lansing will depart 10 minutes later.

Route 32 Commuter Lot/Snyder Hall/Clinical Center (year-round service)
The route will extend to Snyder/Phillips Residence Halls after buses depart the Auditorium en route to the Clinical Center and Commuter Lot. Summer service concludes and buses return to a 10-minute frequency throughout the semester.
Route 33 North & South Neighborhoods
The route will operate later as buses run every 40 minutes after 7 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
Route 38 Spartan Village
The route will operate every 30 minutes until 10:45 p.m. and travel Harrison Road to Shaw Lane into campus.
Lot Link
Spartan Village will be served by Lot Link Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. upon request. A cash fare or bus pass is required.
Service at the MSU-CATA Transportation Center
To allow campus buses to resume service at the MSU-CATA Transportation Center, Routes 20, 22 and 23 will return to boarding passengers at the Shaw and Farm boarding site Aug. 26.
Customers can get new schedules online at cata.org, at the CATA Transportation Center in downtown Lansing, the Multimodal Gateway in East Lansing, the MSU-CTC on campus and at schedule racks throughout the area.
