This Saturday in Lansing, those wanting to participate in the election but can not be present on the day that the polls are open, can cast an absentee ballot.
The Lansing City Clerk will have open the South Washington elections office open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 4 on 2500 S. Washington Street.
Walk-ins to cast an absentee ballot are welcome. In addition, there will be a secure box 24 hours a day to drop off any ballots and absentee ballot applications.
