Serving in the U.S. Army can lead to a wide range of career opportunities.
That was the message Friday morning to more than 100 school counselors and teachers at Lansing Community College.
Army recruiters say serving in the military can often lead to scholarships or hands-on training in a STEM-related field. But they say 50% of young adults, aged 17 to 24, are not aware of those opportunities.
