Car vs. motorcycle accident in Lansing: 3 hospitalized

The Lansing Police Department is investigating an accident involving a motorcycle that sent three people to the hospital Sunday.

Lansing police tell News 10 the crash happened near the intersection of Saginaw Street and Maryland Avenue around 9:30 p.m.

A motorcycle traveling on Saginaw Street crashed into a vehicle on Maryland Avenue.

A man and woman were riding on the motorcycle and a woman was driving the vehicle, police said.

All three were taken to a local hospital with injuries. The female passenger on the motorcycle is in serious condition while the male driver of the motorcycle and the woman driving the car sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation but Lansing police say it is not believed alcohol was a factor in the crash.
