Car rear ends semi, shuts down U.S 127 in Lansing

Northbound U.S 127 is shut down in Lansing Monday after a car rear ended a semi truck.

The crash happened around 3 p.m at Forest Road. The driver of the semi truck tells News 10 he was not injured, but two people in the car suffered serious but not life threatening injuries.

Lansing Police tell us an ambulance responding to the crash got stuck in the median.

Traffic is being diverted off the highway at the Jolly/Dunckel Exit.
