A car collided with a semi-truck while the driver was merging onto a busy section of highway that's under-construction.
The driver was trying to get onto I-96 East in Lansing from the Cedar Street exit.
Police were called to the scene around 7:40 a.m. Crews have cleared the scene and the highway is open. No injuries have been reported.
MDOT is doing road work on 96 so there is less space to merge onto the highway.
