Police are looking for a shameless thief caught on video busting out a window and breaking into a car.
What makes it worse is the crime happened at a local church, while people were inside attending a Sunday service.
As FOX 47's Cryss Walker reports, the pastor wants justice.
Pastor Aaron Strouss says he was shocked to find evil lurking in the parking lot of his church
“We just had a great service and dismissed the congregation and everybody was heading out to their cars and we had a family go out and got to their car and found out somebody had broke their window open and stole some items out of their car”, said the Pastor.
FOX 47’s Cryss Walker spoke with the victim off-camera who was still shaken-up by the incident.
“It was the wife's purse in the car. Unfortunately it had quite a bit of money in it and it was pretty devastating for them. Its bill money and Christmas money so it is devastating for the family”, Pastor Strouss explained.
The crime happened Sunday morning during service at Cornerstone Church on Cortland Boulevard in Jackson.
“Very bold. He walked through our parking lot so he knew what he was doing and he had the equipment to break the window very discreetly and not making a big scene with it and he was in and out within five minutes”, Pastor Strouss said.
