A candlelight vigil is planned for tonight for the Lansing man murdered early Sunday morning.
Friends and family of Kevin Wirth will gather with candles tonight to pay tribute to him. A vigil will be held at the Nuthouse Sports Grill in downtown Lansing at 8 p.m.
Wirth often went to the Nuthouse with friends. Candles will be provided for those who need them.
A suspect in custody in connection with Wirth's murder is expected to be arraigned in court today. His identity will be released following the arraignment.
Wirth was found dead at a home on East Kalamazoo Street Sunday. Police say he was stabbed and beaten to death. Officers had been called to the house on Kalamazoo after the home security alarm went off. Nuthouse Sports grill is located at 420 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing.
