A candle is to blame for an early Saturday morning house fire in Lansing.
Firefighters say the fire started around 3:30 a.m., at the 600 block of Lenore Street after a candle tipped over onto a mattress
They say the family had no power and were using candles to light their home.
Everyone made it out of the home safely.
The home only suffered minor smoke damage.
