LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Board of Water and Light (BWL) unveiled its new central substation.
The substation is located on the corner of west Malcolm X Street and South Washington Avenue in REO Town.
The project's completion also marks the re-opening of Scott Park.
The updates include new public art, historical signs and a live wall as well as the restored Sunken Garden.
The more than $30 million project was unveiled at 10 a.m. Wednesday and is part of the BWL's plan to replace Eckert Power Station.
