BWL to make road repairs on Lansing streets

LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Board of Water and Light will begin making road repairs on several streets following damage from water main breaks.

  • Starting Tuesday, June 18, northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane on S. Larch St. between E. Kalamazoo St. and E. Michigan Ave. Work is expected to be completed on Friday, June 21.
  • Also on Tuesday, northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane S. Cedar St. between E. Holmes Rd. and E. Cavanaugh Rd. Work is expected to be completed on Friday, June 21.
  • On Monday, June 24, southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane on N. Howard Ave. at E. Saginaw St. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, June 28.

Access to local homes and businesses near the work areas will be maintained during the project. Drivers are advised to expect delays and to seek alternate routes.
