LANSING, Mich. — A new construction project is starting up in Lansing on Tuesday, July 30, but it is not expected to take long to finish.
The eastbound lane of East Shiawassee Street between North Cedar Street and North Grand River will be closed.
Crews with the Lansing Board of Water and Light will be replacing a broken water main valve in that area.
The work is expected be finished by the end of the day on Tuesday, July 30.
Access to local area homes and businesses adjacent to the work areas will be maintained during the project.
Drivers are advised to expect delays and to seek alternate routes.
