Buttigieg to visit NAACP convention in Detroit ahead of Democratic presidential debate

DETROIT, Mich. — Another Democratic presidential hopeful is planning to make a trip to Michigan before the second Democratic presidential debate of 2019.

The annual event runs for five days at the Cobo Center.

Several other Democratic presidential candidates will also attend the convention ahead of the July 30 and July 31 debates at the Fox Theatre.

Both nights the debates start at 8:00 p.m. and are slated for run for two hours.

The debates will air live on CNN.
