A tour bus caught fire Friday afternoon backing up traffic on I-96 eastbound in Ingham County.
Authorities closed down the eastbound lanes just east of Meridian Road in Wheatfiled Township at mile marker 114 at about 2:30 PM.
Our crew spotted black smoke billowing into the air.
Witnesses said that people were on the bus and exiting when the fire was discovered.
