Overnight in Rives Township a convenience store was broken into.
It happened after 3 a.m. on October 25 at the Dandy Randy's Convenience store at 3700 Rives Eaton Co. Road.
Police were doing a property security check when they noticed that a window in the front of the store was broken.
They determined a burglary had occurred once they searched the store and noticed that lottery tickets and cigarettes had been stolen.
Identification for one of the suspects was left behind at the store and led the police right to him.
He was interviewed by police. They were able to identify who his partner in crime was as well as retrieve some of the stolen goods from his home.
Both suspects are 16 years old so they've been released to their parents.
