LANSING, Mich. — A group of neighbors on Lansing's east side are warning people about a string of break-ins.
And police want to remind people to keep their homes and cars locked at all times.
Thursday night, a neighbor told Fox 47 that someone tried to break-in to his daughter's home, while she was inside.
Jimmy Suttles says he hopes the culprit is caught before something bad happens.
"They reached through her back window and tried to unlock the door to open it, and that's when they made all the commotion that she heard."
He thinks they heard her inside and took off.
