LANSING, Mich. — Common Ground Music Festival has announced their final headliner for this year's festival and it's Brandi Carlile.
She will be headlining on Thursday, June 27 at Adado Riverfront Park in downtown Lansing.
Carlile is a Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and producer.
According to a press release, "she was the most nominated female artist and third-most nominated artist overall at the 61st GRAMMY Awards in 2019 with six nominations including Album Of The Year (By The Way, I Forgive You), Record Of The Year (“The Joke”), Song of the Year (“The Joke”), Best Americana Album, Best American Roots Song and Best American Roots Performance."
"I've gone through all sorts of vocal phases, from pop to blues to R&B, but no matter what I do, I just can't get the country and western out of my voice," she stated.
Thursday's line up includes:
City of Colour
Robert Randolph and the Family Band
Arlo McKinley and the Lonesome Sound
Michigan based pop-rock band Mike Mains and The Branches
Motherfolk
