Lansing police say a 10-year-old boy riding his bike near the Old Town neighborhood of Lansing was hit by a car Sunday evening.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Cedar Street and East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue.
Police say the boy was in the crosswalk when he was hit by the SUV, which was headed southbound on Cedar Street.
The boy was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.
The crash happened just two days after an 11-year-old girl was also hit on her bike .
