The city of Grand Ledge has issued a boil water alert for an area due to a water main break.
The break happened on S. Clinton St. and M-100.

Remember these tips when there is an advisory:
- use tap water for washing clothes (unless the water is cloudy)
- use tap water for adults taking showers
- use tap water when flushing toilets
Otherwise - do not use tap water.
You should boil water from the tap (and let it cool) before drinking, brushing teeth, washing fruits or vegetables, preparing food, mixing baby formula, making ice, and giving water to pets.
