The search for the missing teenager in Lake Michigan near Holland State Park is over. The body of 16-year-old Riley Hoeksema was found Wednesday afternoon in about 27-feet of water.
The teen disappeared Sunday night after his small zodiac boat capsized after making a sharp turn.
He was with a 16-year-old friend. That boy was pulled safely from the water by a passing boat. The teens were not wearing life vests.
Dive teams from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office along with the US Coast Guard and Michigan State Police helped in the search for Hoeksema.
