LANSING, Mich. — 2020 presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg is focusing on later-voting states in his campaign.
Bloomberg skipped Monday night's Iowa caucuses and attended a campaign event in Detroit Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Most other Democratic candidates are in New Hampshire Tuesday, but Bloomberg is focusing on major swing states.
"We need a nominee who can win in all of those states because this is an election we just have to win," Bloomberg said.
Bloomberg said he is standing up for every American underdog.
The Democratic candidate spoke at an organizing event at The Eastern on Russel Street in Motor City.
This was Bloomberg's second visit to the state for Bloomberg ahead of Michigan's March 10 primary.
