Two large railroad companies are trying to lure new employees with big bonuses.
BNSF Railway and Union Pacific are offering up to $25-thousand dollars for workers to sign on.
The companies say they need to fill critical positions in the railroad labor market.
They're also trying to keep older workers by offering retention bonuses so they don't retire.
