LANSING, Mich. — The Ingham County Sheriff's Department says a bicyclist who was hit by a car in Aliedon Township has died from his injuries.
David Andrew Baker, 56, was riding his bike south on Okemos Road near Willoughby Road when witnesses say he swerved in front of a car driven by a 71-year-old Mason man, according to police.
Baker suffered severe head trauma and he later died at the hospital.
The accident happened Friday afternoon.
Okemos Road was closed for about two hours.
The Ingham Regional Crash Investigation Team assisted the Ingham County Sheriff's Department in the investigation, according to police.
