Bath students face criminal prosecution for making threats

Two students in the Bath School District could face criminal charges for making bomb threats.

The first threat was found at Bath Middle School on February 22nd. The second was discovered at Bath Elementary School on March 6th. Both threats were found written on bathroom stalls.

Using surveillance video and other resources, investigators identified suspects in each case. One is an elementary school student, the other a middle school student. Their names are not being released.

The Bath Township Police Department sent juvenile prosecution requests to the Clinton County Sheriff's Office for review. The students are also facing punishments from school administrators.
