For anyone who has old documents piling up at home, the DeWitt branch of Lake Trust Credit Union is hosting a free shred day this week.
They will safely destroy any paper documents that may contain personal information this Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The bank will also have staff there to answer questions about identity theft.
The bank is located on Escanaba Drive in DeWitt.
