Michigan State Police have released more information about the deaths of Pewamo Elementary School Principal, 52-year-old George Heckman, and his son, 28-year-old Grant Heckman.
The bodies of the two men were found in a van on a two-track road in Bushnell Township in Montcalm County.
They were found after a missing person's investigation initiated by the Clinton County Sheriff's Department. The Michigan State Police East Lansing Crime Lab assisted members of the Michigan State Police Lakeview Post with processing the scene where the van was discovered.
The case is still under investigation by the Michigan State Police Lakeview Post. Autopsies have been scheduled for Tuesday morning at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Once the investigation is complete and the results of the autopsies have been determined more information will be released to the public.
