While investigating a report of several vehicles being stolen in Jackson County, a sergeant located one of the vehicles with four suspects inside.
When the sergeant attempted to pull the vehicle over on N. Blackstone Street near W. Trail Street around 10:20 p.m. Thursday, the driver refused to stop, according to the Jackson County Office of the Sheriff.
After a short pursuit, the four suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The sergeant was able to apprehend one of the suspects.
The investigation is ongoing in an attempt to identify the remaining suspects, according to the sheriff’s office.
