Like a kid in a candy store. With over 40,000 square feet and cars all around there's a lot.
"According to them it's like 750 cars here today. So it's gonna be a long day. Many recharges for the phone if I need batteries" said John Omadigan.
On his weekend off, Omadigan is using that time to visit his first auto show.
"I moved here from Massachusetts and they don't have something like this out there" Omadigan said. "They have all the antique shows and stuff like that but they don't have nothing like this."
Omadigan wasn't the only one to spend Saturday at the North American International Auto Show for their first time.
"It's my first year bringing my son here. He's 4-years-old and he's all tired now but he loved it" said Naveen Sharma. With three generations at the show, the Sharma men made it a boys day out.
"It's good for all of us to spend time together, with myself, my dad, his grandson. Kind of the three guys together. thought it'd be a nice touch" Sharma said.
While they all had multiple cars in mind. They all came to the show for the 2016 Chevy Camaro.
Winner of the Motor Trend Car of the Year. The Lansing made Camaro has been a huge hit since production started in October. They've already sold 3,000 of the car. And many people wish they could drive the car home.
"They're just very sleek looking cars. And obviously I'm a young guy, that appeals to me. Sports cars too, appeals to me as well" said Dimitrios Mylonopoulos.
After seeing the Camaro Patricia Buda now wants to trade in her car.
"Everything encompasses you, you just feel nice and cozy in there. Feel like you can get up and go" Buda said.
