LANSING, Mich. — Michigan's Attorney General is going to be giving us an update on the three biggest investigations going on right now, including one at MSU.
Dana Nessel, the head of the State Police, and the Solicitor General will be holding a public briefing next Thursday.
The first investigation involves how Michigan State handled the Larry Nassar scandal.
The Special Prosecutor handling the case, under former Attorney General Bill Schuette, said MSU was not forthcoming and has made it virtually impossible to know the truth.
Former President Lou Anna K. Simon, former College of Osteopathic Medicine Dean William Strampel, and former gymnastics coach Kathie Klages are all charged in the case.
There will also be an update on the Catholic Church Clergy abuse investigation.
The Attorney General's Office seized records from the Lansing Diocese and every other Diocese in Michigan last October.
The Archdiocese of Detroit gave the state access to its files on clergy misconduct.
The third investigation is into the Flint Water Crisis.
The big case in the investigation is that of former State Health Director Nick Lyon, who's waiting to find out if he'll stand trial for involuntary manslaughter.
A total of 51 criminal charges have been filed against 15 people.
Each of those investigations were started while Bill Schuette was Attorney General.
We will be at the briefing on Thursday morning, and will have coverage throughout the day on FOX 47 News and on the FOX 47 app.
