Attorney General leading polls in GOP race for Governor

Attorney General Bill Schuette is one of four candidates running for the Republican nomination in next week's primary election.

The latest poll from Lansing-based Epic-MRA shows Schuette with a comfortable lead with support from 42% of likely voters polled.

Leuitenant Governor Brian Calley is in second place with 24%.

Rounding out the field are Patrick Colbeck with 11% and Jim Hines with 9%.

The primary election will be held Tuesday, August 7th.
